Yes, we’ve been close friends and colleagues for forty years. Yes, we wrote a book together. So it’s a biased review. Still, Brad probably reads more and a larger variety of science fiction than anyone I know, and when I’ve discussed Epoch with him, it’s clear he’s really spent some time with it. So I think his review is sincere; ok, maybe a little generous, but still.
